A very busy and well-respected local authority based in Sussex, are currently hiring for an interim Housing Options Officer for an initial 3-month period. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the legal framework surrounding homeless assistance, specifically with regards to Section 184 and 202 decisions.
This role will be a hybrid role consisting of 3 remote days and 2 office-based days.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of 30 clients, overseeing initial applications, providing housing advice, and carrying out Section 184 decisions, regarding eligibility and suitability for temporary/emergency accommodation.
You will be required to hold previous housing options experience to be considered for this position.
